Ghazni
with a population of 1.362 million and comprising 19 districts, faces numerous challenges, including a lack of public facilities, serious violations of women rights, a high number of gender-based violence (GBV) cases, and extensive displacement. The province is one of the poorest, with limited access to education for girls and vulnerability to natural disasters. We provide Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) services to displaced families and their children and facilitate community-based dialogue initiatives to identify local solutions for local problems. Additionally, we have programs for Iranian deportees, providing them with vocational skills and establishing small businesses to support livelihoods and enhance economic opportunities for vulnerable populations.
