With 11 districts and a total population of 613,481, faces challenges related to livelihoods, food security, poverty, unemployment, and limited educational opportunities. ADWSO implements food security initiatives and supports students in schools with daily food distribution. Additionally, we conduct social behavior change communication initiatives addressing community issues such as early marriages and education promotion. Furthermore, we conduct targeted awareness campaigns on child rights and protection and plan to establish community schools for children with limited access to formal education. Kunduz with 953,800, with a total of seven districts has experienced significant instability due to continuous conflict, resulting in displacement, destruction of public properties, and disruption of essential services over the past 20 years. ADWSO focuses on providing emergency relief aid to displaced families, facilitates trauma counseling for survivors of violence, supports local communities to gain their resilience, and advocates for the protection of women and children in conflict-affected areas.
