Sar-e Pol

with a population of 632,000 spread across seven districts, is one of the poorest
provinces, receiving minimal support from donors and the government, resulting in nearly
nonexistent public services. The province faces recurring droughts, natural disasters, a rising
number of GBV cases, and a lack of women's presence in public life. These challenges
significantly impact livelihoods, education, and the influx of deportees from Iran.
ADWSO implements emergency response initiatives during crises and promotes sustainable
reintegration for children. This includes providing GBV survivors and victims with in-kind
financial assistance and facilitating access to child protection services and first aid for needy
children.
